Went to Tempe Bike Saviours with Tyler yesterday to buy a stem for his old Miyata. If you ride a bike and live in the Phoenix metro you need to know about this co-op. (especially if you are an ASU student and look like this guy). But seriously, they have excellent mechanics on hand, plenty of tools, (save for a threadless saw guide), and enough frames/parts to build a fixed gear for every kid in Micronesia.

The prices on used parts can’t be beat, (Tyler paid $5 for a decent stem) and they even had some “higher end” used parts like carbon bars and a Dura Ace crankset. It can be intimidating on your first trip but well worth it once you get yourself acquainted.
